Jack Schore Keeps his Promises
Coach Jack Schore challenged his team that if they beat Churchill HS, their biggest rival and one of the best high school tennis teams in the Mid-Atlantic, he would do 50 push-ups during the Bullis Awards ceremony in May 2008.
Bullis defeated Churchill in an epic battle and Jack kept his promise.
World TeamTennis Day at Rockville Civic Center Park
Tennis coach Jack Schore and the Rockville Department of Recreation and Parks hosted the first-ever World TeamTennis Day July 17th, 2008 at the Rockville Civic Center Park.
Players enjoyed a tennis clinic run by Wayne Bryan, father and coach of the world's No. 2 doubles team of twin brothers Mike and Bob Bryan, and USTA Mid-Atlantic Section Hall-of-Famer Jack Schore and his staff, as well as games and prizes.
